Abstract art by Sergei Inkatov
In 1989, the Armenian–Azerbaijani conflict forced the artist’s family to leave Baku. Since 1994, he has lived and worked in Tallinn.
Inkatov is a member of the Estonian Artists’ Association, the Estonian Painters’ Association, and Mondial Art Academia, where he also serves as the organisation’s ambassador in Estonia.
His work has been recognised with several international awards, including the Diploma of Excellence at Global Art Annual (2006), a laureate title from the Cultural Property Foundation (2009), recognition in the Tallinn European Capital of Culture 2011 competition, and gold medals in abstract painting at the Prix International des Galeries (2017, 2019). In 2019, he was awarded first place at Art Weeks in France.
Inkatov has participated in numerous international exhibitions and art forums, including Art Expo Beijing and New York Art Expo. His works can be found in the collection of the Narva Art Museum, the Comas Galeria Foundation collection, and in private collections in Estonia and around the world.
